Job Description:
The OT Infrastructure Analyst specializes in Operational Technology (OT) and Process Control Network (PCN) systems, ensuring the maintenance and operation of critical site systems within the PCN. This role involves deploying, implementing, and supporting various PCN/OT network solutions. The Analyst will be responsible for the design, configuration, deployment, and operational maintenance of network and transport technologies, ensuring secure and reliable network services for the facility. This position requires collaboration with PCN Administrators, Process Control, I&E teams, and vendors to manage changes to PCN, PLC, and SCADA systems. Additionally, the Analyst provides technical support for local operations, including cybersecurity, compliance, software license, and patch management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and troubleshoot LAN/WAN infrastructure for PCN networks.
- Implement and manage RF infrastructure for PCN/OT data transport, including MW, WiFi, WiMAX, Cellular, UHF/VHF radios, WiHart, DAS, M2M, and LoRaWAN.
- Program and manage network components such as switches, routers, and firewalls.
- Manage IP addresses for control systems, including Process Logic Controllers (PLC), Distributed Control Systems (DCS), and Remote Terminal Units (RTU).
- Support and administer hardware, operating systems, and software for PCN/DMZ Servers and Workstations, including domain controllers, HMI workstations, IO Servers, and Historian Servers.
- Conduct system builds, patch management, virus protection, and backup/recovery management per company standards.
- Ensure IP compliance and maintain up-to-date inventory for PCN and DMZ equipment.
- Manage software licenses and monitor the health of PCN and DMZ equipment.
- Support IT standards integration into the PCN environment and implement CES and OT standards.
- Supervise vendor activities during system/subsystem maintenance visits.
- Collaborate with Maintenance, Operations, Process Teams, and Business Units for Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA), Life Cycle Cost Analysis (LCCA), and asset management improvement.
- Mentor and train team members for organizational capability.
- Provide support for Colorado regulatory reporting from PCN-based equipment.
Required Technical Skills:
- Experience in LAN/WAN infrastructure support for PCN networks.
- Knowledge of RF infrastructure: MW, WiFi, Cellular, UHF/VHF radios, WiHart, DAS, M2M, LoRaWAN.
- Programming expertise for switches, routers, firewalls, etc.
- Experience with IP address management for PLCs, DCS, and RTUs.
- Hardware and software administration for PCN/DMZ Servers and Workstations, including domain controllers, HMI workstations, and Historian Servers.
Required Functional/Domain Knowledge:
- Experience in system builds, patch management, virus protection, and recovery management.
- Familiarity with IP compliance, software license management, and equipment inventory management.
- Expertise in monitoring PCN and DMZ equipment reliability and health.
- Integration of IT and OT standards in the PCN environment.
- Vendor management during facility visits.
- Experience with RCFA, LCCA, and asset management processes.
- PCN Firewall administration and auditing.
