Schedule: Hybrid-3 days
Key Skills:
- Hands on experience with more of a technical analyst, background with ability to work with Data for trend analysis and power BI
- Must have good experience with Microsoft products (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Office, etc.) Additional experience with Maximo, Primavera, and Microsoft Power BI would be a plus.
Job Summary:
Our client is seeking to address key challenges in their scope of the delivery lifecycle to maximize the throughput of the delivery and implementations. The Planning & Scheduling group has identified some initial pain points and is also seeking to identify, prioritize, and address other challenges that are negatively affecting the progress of capital project implementations. Our client is seeking support to improve and/or resolve the following issues impacting the delivery commitments:
- Request for Shutdown process
- Adjacent Hazards process
- Improving handoffs between the Engineering, Design, and Construction phases
- Standing up Project Engineers
- Scheduling pilot for OH construction, long term scheduling capability within LTP
- Standing up a new student intern program and all of the processes/systems for administrative support/execution
- Improve engineering design reviews and schedule adherence with Vendors (e.g., Leidos, MES, B&M). Experience with these applications preferred, not required
- Short term resource planning (field crews required for project execution, # of crews per day, total hours, remaining hours, # of hours ahead/behind
- Experience with Construction planning experience with field personnel is helpful
- Engineering Capacity Deployment, particularly improving handoffs between the Engineering, Design, and Construction phases
Job/Role Description
- Supports investigation into current state challenges; a CI/Continuous Improvement background would be preferred (to help with process mapping, problem solving, setting up huddles, regular meetings, etc.)
- Focus on technology and data related aspects of target issue areas
- Supports discovery of issues and opportunities across capital delivery life cycle
- Identifies Root cause, contributors, fault tree analysis, etc.. to propose changes and business model options
- Application experience would be preferred, not required. Experience with Microsoft products (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Office, etc.) would be the "baseline", and additional experience with Maximo, Primavera, and Microsoft Power BI would be a plus.
