Title: Business Systems Analyst
Location: Tampa, FL
Contract Length: 24+ Months

Job Summary:

• The Technical Business Systems Analyst will work closely with business stakeholders, end-users, and technical teams to analyze, define, and implement business processes.
• This role is essential for bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, focusing on system design, configuration, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Work with business users to gather and document detailed business requirements.
• Work with techno functional consultants and developers to design system solutions that meet business requirements.
• System Integration: Assist with integrations, ensuring seamless data flow between systems.
• Data Management & Reporting: Collaborate on data analysis, report generation, and ensure proper data management.
• Testing & Validation: Develop test scripts and perform unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure system functionality aligns with business requirements.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve business processes through better use of system functionality or enhancements.
• Technical Documentation: Create detailed technical documentation, including process flow diagrams, system configurations, and user guides.
• Support & Troubleshooting: Provide ongoing support to users, troubleshoot issues, and resolve system bugs or configuration problems.
• Training & Knowledge Transfer: Train end-users and provide knowledge transfer to ensure they can effectively use systems.

Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.

Experience:

• System configuration experience.
• Experience with implementations or upgrades.
• Strong understanding of database systems and SQL queries.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement.
• Ability to analyze complex business processes and map them to technical solutions.

Communication & Collaboration:

• Strong communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams, including business and IT professionals.

Other Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of Agile methodology and experience with project management tools like Jira.
• Understanding of data migration, change management, and system testing strategies.
• Business Analysis certifications such as CBAP or PMI-PBA
