DevOps Engineer

Charlotte, NC

18 months- W2 ONLY 

Requirements:

• • Proficiency in a variety of scripting languages such as Go, Java, Python, Perl, and Shell for automating tasks, generating reports, and developing tools.
  • Expertise in automation tools such as Chef, Puppet, Ansible, SaltStack, or similar.
  • Experience with one or more of the following technologies: PHP, Go, Python, Scala, Ruby, Javascript, Memcached, LAMP, nginx, node.js, NoSQL databases, and Varnish.
  • Experience as a LAMP stack software developer, systems administrator, or systems engineer.
  • Extensive experience with cloud platforms, open-source databases, and caching layers.
  • Automation experience in AWS using tools like Ansible, Packer, and Terraform.
  • Hands-on experience with distributed systems, container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker, Mesosphere), and services discovery.

  Desired Skills:

  • Familiarity with big data systems (Apache Spark, Hadoop).
  • Experience with infrastructure tools like Consul, Vault, etc.
  • Strong IP networking skills and Load Balancer (LB) technologies.
  • Experience with open-source monitoring and alerting systems.
