Experienced Electrician? Ready for a Career Change Without Leaving the Trade?
You've spent years mastering your craft, troubleshooting electrical systems, working long hours on jobsites, and getting the job done right. But have you ever thought about using that experience to teach the next generation of electricians?
We're looking for an experienced, licensed electrician who's ready to step away from the daily physical demands of fieldwork and into a rewarding, stable career as an Electrical Instructor in Springfield, MA.
The best part? You DO NOT need teaching experience!
We provide the curriculum, paid instructor training, and ongoing support. You bring the real-world electrical knowledge.

Paid training to become an instructor
Less physical wear and tear while staying connected to the electrical trade
Stable, full-time employment with excellent benefits
Opportunity to mentor and develop future electrical professionals
Forget spending every day on ladders, in crawl spaces, or running from one jobsite to another.
As an Electrical Instructor, you'll use your hands-on industry experience to help students develop the skills and confidence needed to succeed in the electrical trade.
Your responsibilities will include:
Teaching practical, hands-on electrical skills in classroom and lab settings
Demonstrating electrical installations, wiring methods, troubleshooting, and safe work practices
Sharing real-world jobsite knowledge, electrical code requirements, and industry best practices
Helping students understand electrical theory and apply it to real-world situations
Coaching and mentoring students as they develop their technical abilities
Preparing students for industry certifications, licensing requirements, and employment
Participating in paid instructor training and professional development
You won't be starting from scratch. Established curriculum, instructional training, and an experienced education team will help you transition successfully into the classroom.
We're looking for experienced electrical professionals who enjoy sharing their knowledge and helping others succeed.
Minimum Qualifications:

Good communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and manage daily responsibilities
A willingness to learn how to teach and mentor students
Previous teaching experience is NOT required. If you've trained apprentices, helped newer electricians, or simply enjoy explaining how things work, you may already have the foundation to become a great instructor.
