Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and motivated SkillBridge Coordinator to manage and oversee our SkillBridge program. The coordinator will serve as the primary point of contact for transitioning service members and clients ensuring a seamless and impactful internship experience that supports participants’ transition to civilian careers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Management: Administer all aspects of the SkillBridge program, including recruitment, onboarding, and tracking participant progress.
- Candidate Support: Guide transitioning service members through the application process, matching them with appropriate internship opportunities based on their skills and career goals.
- Client Support: Seek out potential and existing clients to partner with TBCR and match with transitioning service members.
- Reporting and Compliance: Maintain accurate records, prepare reports on program outcomes, and ensure adherence to DoD SkillBridge regulations and company policies.
- Outreach and Recruitment: Promote the SkillBridge program through job fairs, military networks, and community events to attract qualified candidates.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance the program’s effectiveness and participant experience.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in program coordination, human resources, or veteran transition services.
- Familiarity with the DoD SkillBridge program or military transition processes is highly preferred.
- Skills:
- Sales
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to build relationships with clients, leads and military personnel.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and applicant tracking systems.
- Attributes:
- Passion for supporting veterans and transitioning service members.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Preferred:
- Military background or experience working with veteran-focused programs.
- Knowledge of career counseling or workforce development.
