We are seeking a General Manager to lead and elevate operations for a well-established home services company in Omaha, NE. With a $19M P&L and a team of 81 employees, this company specializes in install (67%), service (25%), and plumbing (8%).
This is a pivotal succession planning role — ideal for a proven leader ready to step into executive-level ownership of the business, driving profitability, team development, and sustainable growth.
Lead Operations: Oversee all daily business functions, including service, install, and plumbing divisions, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
Financial Management: Take full ownership of the P&L, with responsibility for budgeting, forecasting, and driving financial performance.
Strategic Growth: Develop and execute business strategies to increase revenue, expand service offerings, and capture new market opportunities.
Team Leadership: Inspire and coach department leaders, fostering a culture of accountability, integrity, and teamwork.
Succession Planning: Work closely with ownership to strengthen the company’s leadership bench and prepare for long-term growth and stability.
Customer Experience: Ensure all teams deliver exceptional customer service, maintaining the company’s strong reputation in the Omaha market.
Culture and Integrity: Model professionalism, work-life balance, and ethical leadership — leading with transparency, consistency, and respect.
Proven Leadership: 7+ years of progressive management experience, ideally in HVAC, plumbing, or related trades.
Business Acumen: Deep understanding of operational metrics, P&L management, and growth strategies within a home services environment.
