Lead Service Technician – Residential HVAC/R
Location: Newton, MA Area
Employment Type: Full-Time
Hourly Pay: $45 to $50 (based on experience) plus overtime
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and install residential HVAC/R systems to the highest industry standards.
• Communicate clearly with customers, explaining system issues, options, and recommendations.
• Keep service vehicles stocked, organized, and ready for daily calls.
• Participate in team meetings, ongoing training, and service updates.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of residential HVAC/R experience in residential HVAC maintenance and service.
• Current Refrigeration Technician license required.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to read wiring diagrams, blueprints, and schematics.
• Proficient in brazing, soldering, and standard HVAC/R practices.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• EPA certification required; refrigeration license preferred.
• Professional, reliable, and customer-focused with excellent communication skills.
