Design, service, and implement state-of-the-art BAS systems.
Oversee setup and installation of BAS components, ensuring precise configuration of end devices.
Provide regular project updates to Systems Coordinator and Supervisor.
Configure and troubleshoot network systems (IP, RS-485, etc.).
Conduct Point-to-Point verification of I/O for seamless system performance.
Deliver technical support and mentorship to the BAS team.
Uphold exceptional craftsmanship and quality standards.
Maintain a safe, clean work environment, adhering to PPE requirements.
Manage company-issued tools and equipment with care.
Submit accurate timecards, service activities, and inspection reports.
Communicate effectively with team members and jobsite contacts regarding project progress.
Perform additional duties as needed to support project success.
5+ years of experience as a System Specialist or equivalent role in BAS.
Associate’s degree or equivalent training/experience in a related field.
Proficiency with BAS platforms, including Tridium NiagaraAX/N4 Workbench, Distech GFX, Honeywell Spyder Tool, and Johnson Controls CCT/PCT.
Expertise in Lonworks and/or BACnet Control Systems.
Strong understanding of IP networks and troubleshooting low-voltage systems.
Comprehensive knowledge of HVAC systems (boilers, chillers, packaged units, etc.).
Ability to read mechanical plans, wiring diagrams, and differentiate wire types/colors.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Advanced technical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Effective leadership and communication abilities.
Self-motivated, team-oriented, and passionate about delivering exceptional results.
Willingness to pursue ongoing training and industry knowledge expansion.
Ability to provide basic hand tools (e.g., screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers).
Flexible to work overtime/weekends as needed.
Valid driver’s license with 3+ years of registered driving history.
Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
Lift and maneuver heavy equipment, parts, and tools (50+ lbs).
Work on ladders, lifts, and at high elevations.
Operate in confined spaces and extreme hot/cold climates.
