Commercial Electrical Estimator – Build Your Career with a 100-Year Legacy

Location: Elizabethtown, PA (must live within 1 hour)
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM (Onsite)
Compensation: $90,000–$100,000/year + Performance Bonus

The Opportunity

We’re looking for an experienced Commercial Electrical Estimator to join our expanding electrical division. In this role, you’ll take the lead on estimating plan/spec and design-build projects, working directly with company leadership.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare detailed, accurate electrical estimates for commercial construction projects

• Perform take-offs, pricing, and cost analysis to ensure competitive bids

• Review drawings, specifications, and addenda for accuracy and completeness

• Build and maintain relationships with vendors and subcontractors to secure the best pricing

• Present proposals and technical solutions alongside the Business Development Manager

• Collaborate with leadership to transition awarded projects smoothly to management

• Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and client presentations as needed

• Stay up to date with NEC codes, local requirements, and new technologies

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of commercial electrical estimating experience (plan/spec & design-build)

• Strong understanding of NEC and local codes

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project documents

• Proficiency with estimating software and digital take-off tools

• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills

• Collaborative team player with strong attention to detail
