Maintenance Planner role:

 

About the Role:

The Maintenance Planner plays a crucial role in ensuring the operational efficiency of our manufacturing facility by developing and implementing effective maintenance strategies. This position is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance activities to minimize downtime and enhance productivity. The Maintenance Planner will analyze equipment performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement, ensuring that all maintenance tasks are performed in a timely and cost-effective manner. Additionally, this role involves collaborating with various departments to align maintenance activities with production schedules and operational goals. Ultimately, the Maintenance Planner contributes to the overall success of the organization by maintaining high standards of equipment reliability and performance.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in maintenance planning within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of predictive and preventive maintenance techniques.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Maintenance Management or Reliability Engineering.
  • Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive maintenance schedule for all production equipment.
  • Analyze equipment performance data to identify opportunities for predictive and preventive maintenance.
  • Coordinate with maintenance technicians to ensure the timely execution of maintenance tasks.
  • Prepare and manage maintenance budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to align maintenance activities with production needs.

Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel and PowerPoint is utilized for data analysis and presenting maintenance plans to stakeholders. Knowledge of Plant Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance ensures that the candidate can create schedules that minimize downtime and enhance productivity. Familiarity with production equipment, including Compressors, allows for targeted maintenance efforts that directly impact operational efficiency. Overall, these skills enable the Maintenance Planner to effectively manage resources, communicate with teams, and contribute to the continuous improvement of maintenance processes.
