Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial HVAC equipment, including 40–100-ton package units, WSHP, VAV, FPB, VRF systems, boilers, pumps, air-cooled/water-cooled chillers, cooling towers, self-contained units, and variable frequency drives.
Deliver exceptional craftsmanship and maintain high-quality service standards.
Ensure a safe, clean work environment, adhering to PPE requirements.
Maintain a fully stocked, organized company vehicle and manage company-issued tools/equipment.
Lead assigned projects, coordinating with Account Managers, Service Coordinator, and subcontractors for parts and labor.
Communicate daily schedules and project updates with Service Coordinator and Supervisor.
Submit accurate timecards, service activities, and inspection reports.
Engage with customers regarding arrival, issues identified, and departure, ensuring clear communication.
Identify and communicate repair recommendations to Inside Sales for proposal generation.
Perform additional duties as needed to support project and team success.
10+ years of commercial/industrial HVAC service experience.
Associate’s degree or equivalent training/experience in HVAC or related field.
EPA Universal Certification and Tech registration with TDLR.
Expertise in troubleshooting and system analysis for complex HVAC systems.
Proficiency with 40–100-ton package units, VRF systems, chillers, boilers, and variable frequency drives.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and smartphone usage.
Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical plans, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
Provide basic hand tools (e.g., gauges, meter, screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers).
Self-sufficient, team-oriented, and passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.
Commitment to ongoing training and industry knowledge expansion.
Flexibility to work overtime/weekends as needed.
Valid driver’s license with 3+ years of registered driving history.
Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
Lift and maneuver heavy equipment, parts, and tools (50+ lbs).
Work on ladders, lifts, and at high elevations.
Operate in confined spaces and extreme hot/cold climates.
