RCS Staffing has an immediate need for a Senior/Principal Project Manager in Phoenix, AZ. This is a full-time direct-hire On-Site assignment with our client. This position offers a competitive package including benefits, vacation and holidays.

Overview of YOUR role as a Senior/Principal Project Manager

As a Senior/Principal Project Manager, you will lead large-scale power generation projects from development and engineering through procurement, construction, commissioning, and turnover. You will oversee EPC/OE interfaces, major equipment and long-lead procurement, integrated schedules, cost and risk management, and permitting. This role requires a seasoned leader who can step in quickly, establish strong project controls and governance, and drive accountability across multiple workstreams and contractors.

As a Senior/Principal Project Manager YOU will:

· Lead greenfield and brownfield power generation projects from development through turnover
· Oversee combined-cycle and simple-cycle gas turbine facility projects
· Manage EPC/OE interfaces and contractor performance
· Direct major equipment and long-lead procurement
· Develop and maintain integrated project schedules
· Manage project cost, risk, and permitting activities
· Oversee construction execution and commissioning
· Establish project controls and governance structures
· Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders and contractors
· Provide executive-level project reporting

YOU are the ideal Senior/Principal Project Manager candidate if you have:

· Deep advanced-thermal power generation experience (required)
· Demonstrated track record delivering large greenfield and brownfield projects (required)
· Direct experience leading projects from development and engineering through commissioning and turnover (required)
· Experience with combined-cycle and/or simple-cycle gas turbine facilities (required)
· Experience managing complex, multi-billion-dollar programs or portfolios
· Experience overseeing EPC/OE interfaces and major equipment procurement
· Strong skills in integrated scheduling, cost management, and risk management
· Experience with permitting and construction execution
· Experience delivering executive-level reporting
· Proven ability to establish project controls, governance, and accountability
