RCS Staffing has an immediate need for a Project Manager in Dallas, TX and Odessa, TX. This is a full-time Direct Hire or Contract On-Site assignment with our client, with an estimated duration of one year and the possibility of extension or conversion depending on production. Overview of YOUR role as a Project Manager

As a Project Manager, you will lead large-scale power generation construction and retrofit projects from a site-based position, working closely with the client team, contractors, and subcontractors. You will manage scope, schedule, and cost analytics, lead daily meetings to review site schedules and work scope, and keep the project on time and within budget. This role requires a hands-on project leader with a power generation background who can balance technical execution, risk management, and customer focus while working a demanding schedule, typically 60+ hours per week.

As a Project Manager YOU will:

· Lead daily meetings with the client team, contractors, and subcontractors to review site schedule and work scope
· Manage project execution for large-scale plant construction, retrofits, and plant or utility outage support
· Develop and maintain project schedules and cost analytics
· Coordinate project activities across multiple contractors and subcontractors
· Identify and manage project risks, change, and resource needs
· Serve as a key point of contact for the client, communicating project status and presenting results
· Work between Dallas, TX and Odessa, TX job sites as project needs require
· Support project delivery performance, safety performance (TRIR, LTIR), and customer satisfaction goals

YOU are the ideal Project Manager candidate if you have:

· Background in power generation, power plant, or utility new build projects (required)
· Construction management, project management, or project engineering experience (required)
· Experience coordinating contractors and subcontractors on-site (required)
· Experience with project management of large-scale plant construction or retrofits
· Scheduling and cost analytics experience
· Ability to work on-site and maintain a 60+ hour per week schedule (required)
· Strong leadership, people management, and risk management skills
· Strong communication and presentation skills
· Customer focus and experience working with client teams and multiple stakeholders
· Experience with change management

It’s a BONUS if you have:

· Experience in plant or utility outage support
· Background as a lead engineer, project engineer, project lead, or superintendent
· Experience with electrical, mechanical, civil, structural, or substation engineering disciplines
· Financial acumen and an understanding of gross margin and profitability
· Experience with generator or power equipment installation projects
· Familiarity with Texas utility projects
