RCS Staffing has an immediate need for a Senior Corporate Tax Accountant in Remote. This is a full-time contract-to-hire Remote assignment with our client.

Overview of YOUR role as a Senior Corporate Tax Accountant

As a Senior Corporate Tax Accountant, you will manage corporate tax accounting activities including tax return preparation, consolidation, and compliance. You will work with Thomson Reuters OneSource and other tax software platforms to support multi-state tax operations and ensure accurate tax reporting and provision. This role requires an experienced tax accounting professional with strong hands-on expertise in tax accounting systems.

As a Senior Corporate Tax Accountant YOU will:

· Prepare and consolidate tax returns using Thomson Reuters OneSource
· Support tax provision software and tax return preparation activities
· Manage multi-state tax consolidation and compliance
· Create and maintain Tax Accounting System (TAS) records
· Clear tax diagnostics and resolve discrepancies
· Provide tax accounting analysis and support
· Support compliance requirements and tax reporting
· Work with financial data in Power BI and other reporting tools
· Coordinate with internal teams on tax matters

YOU are the ideal Senior Corporate Tax Accountant candidate if you have:

· Minimum 6+ years of tax accounting experience (required)
· Thomson Reuters OneSource experience (required)
· Experience preparing and consolidating tax returns using OneSource (required)
· Tax accounting skills and tax provision software experience (required)
· Proficiency with Microsoft Power BI (required)
· Multi-state tax consolidation experience (required)
· Clearing diagnostics and TAS creation experience (required)
· Strong tax compliance knowledge
· Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
· Ability to work independently in a remote environment

It's a BONUS if you have:

· CPA certification
· Public accounting background
· Advanced Power BI expertise
· Experience with multiple tax software platforms
· Leadership or mentoring experience
