RCS Staffing has an immediate need for a Technical Lead Developer in Washington, DC. This is a full-time long-term contract Hybrid assignment (3 days/week on-site required) with our client. This position offers a competitive package including benefits, vacation and holidays.

Overview of YOUR role as a Technical Lead Developer

As a Technical Lead Developer, you will lead technical development initiatives and oversee application development, database management, and automation projects. You will provide technical direction to development teams, architect solutions, and drive delivery of critical applications and dashboards. This role requires an experienced technical leader with extensive application development expertise and proven success in automation and dashboard development.

As a Technical Lead Developer YOU will:

· Lead and mentor development teams on technical projects
· Design and architect application solutions aligned with organizational needs
· Oversee database management and optimization activities
· Develop and implement automation solutions and workflows
· Design and build dashboards for data visualization and reporting
· Manage application development projects from conception through deployment
· Conduct code reviews and ensure quality standards
· Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide solutions
· Support system integration and data management initiatives
· Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define technical specifications
· Drive continuous improvement in development processes and methodologies

YOU are the ideal Technical Lead Developer candidate if you have:

· Bachelor's degree in Management, Engineering, Business, Finance, or IT field (required)
· CompTIA or equivalent/similar IT certification (required)
· PMP certification (required)
· Minimum 10+ years of application development and database management experience (required)
· Minimum 5+ years of automation and dashboard development experience (required)
· Strong leadership and team management capabilities
· Proficiency with modern development tools and platforms
· Advanced database design and optimization skills
· Experience with automation frameworks and tools
· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
· Ability to work on-site 3 days/week in Washington, DC (required)
· U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain security clearance

It's a BONUS if you have:

· Advanced degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
· Experience with federal financial or operational systems
· Knowledge of cloud-based development platforms
· Experience with data analytics and business intelligence tools
· Background in Agile and DevOps methodologies
· Advanced proficiency with enterprise application development
