RCS Staffing has an immediate need for a Data Analytics Team Lead in Washington, DC. This is a full-time long-term contract Hybrid assignment (3 days/week on-site required) with our client. This position offers a competitive package including benefits, vacation and holidays.

Overview of YOUR role as a Data Analytics Team Lead

As a Data Analytics Team Lead, you will lead and manage data analytics initiatives for a federal agency. You will oversee a team of analysts, drive data-driven decision-making, ensure project delivery, and support organizational objectives through strategic analytics and insights. This role requires an experienced leader with extensive DHS/DoD background and proven expertise in data analytics environments.

As a Data Analytics Team Lead YOU will:

· Lead and manage a team of data analytics professionals
· Oversee data analytics projects from conception through delivery
· Develop analytics strategies and roadmaps aligned with organizational priorities
· Mentor and provide technical guidance to team members
· Conduct data analysis, modeling, and reporting
· Create actionable insights from complex datasets
· Support decision-making through data-driven recommendations
· Manage stakeholder communications and expectations
· Ensure quality and accuracy of analytics deliverables
· Support implementation of analytics tools and platforms
· Drive continuous improvement in analytics processes and methodologies

YOU are the ideal Data Analytics Team Lead candidate if you have:

· Bachelor's degree in Management, Engineering, or Business (required)
· PMP certification (required)
· Minimum 8+ years of DHS/DoD experience (required)
· Minimum 8+ years of Data Analytics experience (required; may overlap with DHS/DoD)
· Proven team leadership and mentoring experience
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Experience with data analytics tools and platforms
· Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
· Ability to work on-site 3 days/week in Washington, DC (required)
· U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain security clearance

It's a BONUS if you have:

· Advanced degree in analytics, data science, or related field
· Experience with federal financial or operational analytics
· Advanced proficiency with data visualization tools
· Experience with large-scale data integration projects
· Background in process improvement initiatives
