RCS Staffing has an immediate need for a Senior Technical Sales Representative in Vernon Hills, IL. This is a full-time direct-hire hybrid role (on-site Tuesday–Thursday, remote Monday & Friday)

Overview of YOUR role as a Senior Technical Sales Representative
In this role, you will manage an assigned territory, focusing on maintaining and growing existing accounts while re-engaging lapsed customers. You will sell Cole-Parmer products—including laboratory equipment, consumables, and instruments—across diverse industries, using a strategic approach to maximize sales opportunities.

As a Senior Technical Sales Representative YOU will:
• Manage existing accounts and drive growth in your assigned territory
• Reopen business with former customers using Salesforce leads
• Sell a wide range of Cole-Parmer laboratory products, including pipettes, gloves, consumables, benchtop equipment, and instruments
• Identify and prioritize high-potential accounts for strategic focus
• Collaborate with product management and technical support during training and beyond

YOU are the ideal Senior Technical Sales Representative candidate if you have:
• At least 5 years of inside sales experience
• Experience selling to diverse industries such as pharma/biotech, academia, industrial, chemical, mining, and government sectors
• Strong account management skills and the ability to maintain long-term customer relationships

It’s a BONUS if you have:
• Experience selling scientific products, including controlled environment equipment and large laboratory instruments
• Background in government account management
• Familiarity with Salesforce CRM
