Job Description

ProspectBlue has partnered with a law firm looking to add a litigation attorney to their team due to firm growth.  The ideal candidate will have experience in complex defense work or medical malpractice.  

Responisbilities include:

• Case evaluation and strategy development
• Client interaction and collaboration with experienced partners
• Engagement with medical experts
• Pleadings, written discovery, depositions, motions, and trial prep
• Courtroom exposure and growth as a litigator

Requirements include:

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Licensed to practice in Virginia, or ability to waive in
• 3-10 years of litigation experience (preferably in medical malpractice or civil defense)
• Strong legal research and writing skills
• Familiarity with medical terminology—or willingness to learn
• A commitment to exceptional client service and continuous learning
