ProspectBlue is seeking an experienced Sr. Program Manager for our client, a leader in the financial planning and retirement services industry. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with a strong project management background within retirement or financial services organizations. This is a remote contract opportunity slated for 6-9 months.
What You’ll Do:
Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously (typically $2M–$4M+)
Serve as the primary point of contact for business partners and stakeholders
Oversee project planning, execution, implementation, and reporting
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
Navigate complex, high-impact initiatives across business and IT teams
Drive communication, manage risks, and support organizational change efforts
What We’re Looking For:
~5+ years of project/program management experience within retirement or financial services
Experience with companies like MassMutual, Empower, Fidelity, Lincoln Financial, Travelers, The Hartford, MetLife, or similar strongly preferred
Strong knowledge of both Waterfall and Agile methodologies
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools (Planview or Clarity preferred)
Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders
PMP certification is a plus
Ability to ramp up quickly and operate with a high degree of autonomy
