ProspectBlue has partnered with a boutique law firm focused on complex litigation and commercial real estate to identify a skilled Litigation Legal Assistant/Paralegal for its Greensboro North Carolina office. Key responsibilities include providing administrative support using billing and case management systems, managing time entry and billing processes, and assisting attorneys throughout all stages of litigation. This includes supporting discovery efforts (including e-discovery), trial and post-trial activities, preparing and electronically filing legal documents, and contributing to pretrial and trial preparation. The role also involves proofreading briefs and other legal materials, as well as handling various logistical and administrative tasks as needed. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong organizational and multitasking abilities, excellent time management skills, and a sharp eye for detail.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in a law firm or corporate legal department is required.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with State and/or Federal Court filings is preferred.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Exceptional attention to detail, organizational ability, and proofreading skills.
