Job Description

ProspectBlue is looking for a Central Dispatch Specialist to keep freight moving efficiently and on schedule. You’ll coordinate daily shipments, adjust driver schedules, respond to customer requests, and ensure service levels are met—all while tracking multiple modes of transportation.

Shift: 5pm - 1am M-F

What You’ll Do:

Dispatch drivers and manage daily freight schedules.

Communicate with drivers, service centers, and customers to resolve issues.

Track shipments across contractor, rail, brokerage, owner-operator, and company equipment.

Generate daily and ad hoc reports to keep operations on track.

Collaborate with internal teams on staffing, new accounts, and process improvements.

What We’re Looking For:

Experience in dispatch, logistics, or transportation operations.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency with dispatch software and Microsoft Office Suite.
