ProspectBlue is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Driver Recruitment Specialist to join our client's team in Richmond. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing and screening potential driver candidates, focusing on owner-operator drivers, and facilitating the onboarding process to ensure timely and effective hires.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Sourcing: Proactively search for leads and identify potential candidates for driver positions.
Screening and Assessment: Review and evaluate driver applications to assess qualifications, experience, and suitability for the role.
Candidate Outreach: Initiate contact with potential owner-operator driver candidates and present the benefits of joining the company.
Onboarding Support: Once a candidate is identified, guide them through the onboarding process, ensuring all necessary steps are completed for successful hiring.
Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth and efficient hiring process, providing regular updates on candidate status and progress.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in recruitment or a related field, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage and build relationships with candidates.
Ability to multitask and manage a high volume of candidates.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Knowledge of the onboarding process or similar systems is a plus.
