ProspectBlue is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to support our client's team in Waterford, CT. This role supports daily operations through a variety of clerical and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills who can work independently while collaborating with a diverse team.
Under general supervision, this position provides administrative support including report preparation, purchasing activities, document management, and general office coordination.
This is a Year-Long Contract with the following Schedule:
Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
Prepare routine reports in SAP and create requisitions for purchase orders
Monitor shared email inboxes and manage SharePoint sites
Maintain accurate records and documentation; make minor corrections and coding as needed
Compile regular and special reports using established formats and procedures
Utilize computer systems to record, store, and retrieve information
Perform general clerical duties including mailing, ordering office supplies, coordinating catering, and arranging travel/overnight accommodations
Support document classification and basic accounting-related tasks
Perform additional duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Prior nuclear experience required
3–5 years of general office or administrative experience performing clerical support tasks
Basic understanding of computerized systems and office equipment
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficient with personal computers and common office software
Ability to manage multiple priorities and resources
Basic analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, SAP, and SharePoint
Working knowledge of company and department procedures
Experience in an administrative role involving document management and accounting-related tasks
