ProspectBlue is seeking a Senior Accountant with manufacturing experience to join a growing organization and partner closely with leadership.

The Senior Accountant is responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting activities and ensuring accurate books and a smooth close process. This position plays a key role as a trusted partner to leadership and supports the operational and strategic needs of the business.

What Success Looks Like

• Books are accurate, timely, and well-maintained

• Month-end and year-end close processes run smoothly with minimal rework

• Strong, collaborative relationship with the management team and external CPA

Key Responsibilities

• Full-cycle accounting ownership, including:

  • Accounts payable and accounts receivable

  • Vendor payments and pricing analysis

  • Customer collections and payment postings

  • Weekly payroll processing (hourly and salaried) via ADP

  • General ledger entries and maintenance

  • Monthly financial statement preparation

  • Bank and account reconciliations

  • Credit card payment processing and reconciliation

• Inventory tracking and monthly adjustments

• Product costing and margin analysis

• Budget preparation, forecasting, and expense control

• Partner with the CEO on financial analysis and process improvements

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of accounting and financial reporting experience

• Manufacturing industry experience required

• Proficiency with QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online

• Payroll processing experience for hourly and salaried employees

• Strong MS Excel and Word skills

• Positive, team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills
