ProspectBlue is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Full Stack Engineer to design, build, and maintain secure, scalable applications within our client's banking and financial services environment. This role will work across the full technology stack, partnering closely with product, DevOps, and security teams to deliver modern, API-driven financial platforms and customer-facing applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications using modern frontend and backend technologies
• Build and deploy applications in AWS-based environments
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs supporting financial and payment platforms
• Build and maintain frontend applications using Next.js
• Design and maintain backend services and integrations supporting ACH processing (ACH Pro)
• Integrate third-party services such as Twilio for messaging and communications
• Work with relational and in-memory data stores including RDS PostgreSQL and RDS Redis
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure
• Implement application-level security best practices aligned with banking and compliance standards
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation
• Support production applications and participate in on-call or incident support as needed

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years of experience as a Full Stack, Software, or Application Engineer
• Strong experience building applications in AWS environments
• Proficiency with modern frontend frameworks, specifically Next.js
• Experience developing APIs and backend services
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and Redis (RDS preferred)
• Familiarity with NGINX and web application routing/load balancing concepts
• Experience integrating third-party services and APIs (e.g., Twilio)
• Strong understanding of secure coding practices
• Experience working in regulated or high-availability environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in banking, financial services, fintech, or payments
• Experience supporting ACH or payment processing platforms
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud automation
• Experience with containerization (Docker)
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally
