Job Description

PropsectBlue is seeking an experienced and results-driven Terminal Manager to lead operations at our Moonachie, NJ location. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring the efficient, safe, and cost-effective management of daily terminal operations, personnel, and customer service — all while maintaining the highest standards of performance and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all terminal operations including pickup & delivery (P&D), dock, and linehaul functions.

• Lead and develop terminal staff, including dispatchers, drivers, dockworkers, and administrative teams.

• Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, and company safety regulations and procedures.

• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive productivity, service quality, and cost efficiency.

• Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.

• Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork.

• Collaborate with regional and corporate leadership on strategic initiatives and reporting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of leadership experience in LTL or freight transportation operations.

• Strong knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations.

• Proven ability to lead and motivate high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience with transportation management systems (TMS), such as AS400, and general logistics software.

• Excellent communication, decision-making, and organizational skills.
