Job Description

ProspectBlue is seeking a motivated and client-focused Estate Planning Attorney with 3–5 years of relevant legal experience to join a growing law firm in Charlottesville, VA. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who is passionate about helping individuals and families plan for the future, and who thrives in a collaborative, low-pressure environment with no billable hour requirements.

Responsibilities:

Draft and review estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance directives.

Conduct client consultations to assess estate planning needs and provide strategic legal advice.

Manage all aspects of estate planning matters from initial consultation through execution and follow-up.

Stay current on relevant state and federal laws affecting estate planning, tax, and probate issues.

Collaborate with other attorneys and staff in a team-oriented setting to deliver high-quality service.

Assist with probate and trust administration as needed.

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Active member in good standing with the Virginia State Bar.

3–5 years of experience in estate planning law, preferably with exposure to probate and trust administration.

Strong drafting skills and attention to detail.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple matters with a client-centered approach.

Commitment to integrity, discretion, and client confidentiality.
