ProspectBlue has partnered with a Richmond based bank seeking to hire an IT Manager to join their Team. We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to oversee and strengthen technology operations. This role offers the opportunity to lead a dedicated IT team, ensure smooth day-to-day operations, and drive strategic technology initiatives that support the bank’s growth and compliance needs.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily IT operations, including infrastructure, applications, and security.

Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering growth and collaboration.

Partner with business leaders to align technology strategies with organizational goals.

Oversee vendor relationships, system upgrades, and technology rollouts.

Ensure compliance with banking regulations, cybersecurity standards, and internal policies.

Develop and implement IT policies, disaster recovery plans, and best practices.

Provide hands-on support for escalated technical issues when needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).

7+ years of progressive IT experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.

Strong knowledge of banking systems, core financial applications, and IT compliance requirements.

Experience managing IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and cloud solutions.

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Proven track record of implementing effective IT strategies in a regulated environment.
