ProspectBlue seeks an IT Director for their client in Richmond, VA!

We’re seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of IT to lead our technology vision and execution. This role is responsible for shaping and implementing our IT strategy, ensuring secure and scalable infrastructure, and driving innovation across the organization. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, technical expertise, and a passion for aligning technology with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead IT strategy, digital transformation, and ERP optimization
• Oversee infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud services, and system performance
• Manage IT operations, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning
• Build and mentor a high-performing IT team and manage key vendor relationships
• Ensure governance, compliance, and best practices across all IT functions
• Optimize IT budgets and resource allocation for efficiency and impact

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or related field
• 10+ years in IT with 5+ in leadership roles preferred
• Strong background in infrastructure, cybersecurity, and enterprise systems (Infor/M3 a plus)
• Experience leading digital initiatives and technology transformation
• Excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills
