ProspectBlue is partnering with a leading firm in Richmond, VA, to hire an IT Technical Recruiter for their Talent Acquisition team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in executing the company’s recruiting strategy, helping them meet both current and future hiring needs.
This is a contract position expected to last at least one year, with the potential for extension.Responsibilities:
- Partners closely with HR IT Business Engagement and IT business leadership to develop and execute a cost-effective recruiting strategy that is consistent with business goals.
- Collaborates with management to understand their staffing needs, business issues and job requirements.
- Utilizes numerous sourcing channels (internal and/or external) to develop an appropriate qualified and diverse candidate pool.
- Ensures that all recruitment and selection efforts are consistent with all relevant policies and are fully compliant with applicable laws and regulations.
- Utilizes electronic databases to source for candidates, evaluates and screens candidates, conducts phone interviews, works with Employee Resource Center to schedule face-to-face interviews and testing, if applicable; works with HR Business Engagement and hiring manager to develop appropriate offers and follows up with unsuccessful candidates.
- Ensures the maintenance of accurate and concise records and reports concerning all phases of the recruitment process.
- May be involved with relationship strategy and recruiting from colleges and universities, technical and vocational schools, military institutions and job fairs.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience: 3+ years of recruiting experience, which includes full cycle recruiting and/or sourcing experience. (A Master's degree can count towards one year of experience; A partial year of six months or more will be rounded up to one year of experience).
Specific knowledge, skills, abilities and experience include:
- Proven experience sourcing and recruiting for highly technical roles, including Cloud Architects, Data Scientists, and AI/ML Engineers.
- Strong sourcing experience of passive talent using Boolean searches and outreach for hard to fill niche technical talent.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle and IT infrastructure
- Proven experience in full-cycle recruiting-experience recruiting for technical roles
