ProspectBlue seeks a Universal Banker for a great client in Richmond, VA!

Position Overview:
This cross-trained role combines the responsibilities of a traditional teller and personal banker. You'll serve as a go-to resource for customers by processing routine transactions, opening and managing accounts, and providing guidance on products and services tailored to their needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process day-to-day transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, payments, and account transfers

• Open and service checking, savings, certificate of deposit, and other account types

• Educate customers about financial solutions including loans, credit cards, and digital banking tools

• Resolve customer inquiries and assist with account issues in a timely and professional manner

• Promote services through consultative conversations to identify customer needs

• Support daily branch operations and ensure adherence to compliance standards

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or degree preferred

• 1+ year of experience in banking, customer service, or financial sales

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Tech-savvy and comfortable with banking platforms and digital tools

• Detail-oriented with a commitment to security and accuracy

• Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environment
