Position Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
Experience: A minimum of 6 years of progressively responsible experience that demonstrates a balance of functional expertise, systems knowledge, and leadership capabilities.
Industry Background: Experience in professional services or the legal industry is preferred, with a focus on pricing strategies and alternative fee arrangements (AFAs).
Technical Skills: Strong technical skills with relevant experience in billing, collections, diagnostic analysis, problem-solving, and team management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required; experience with Elite 3E Law Firm Management Software is a plus.
Client Service & Ethics: Proven commitment to client service excellence, collaboration, and maintaining the highest standards of ethics and professionalism.
Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining close attention to detail.
Leadership & Organization: Strong organizational and leadership skills to plan, direct, and manage the work of direct reports.
Planning & Budgeting: Experience preparing annual operating plans, budgets, project plans, and tracking work assignments.
Communication Skills: Exceptional written, oral, and interpersonal communication abilities, with the capacity to engage effectively across all organizational levels and with external clients.
Independent Judgment & Problem-Solving: Ability to work confidently and independently while exercising sound judgment and maintaining a customer-focused mindset.
Confidentiality: Full understanding of and strict adherence to confidentiality principles.
Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours as needed to meet critical deadlines.
