ProspectBlue is looking to hire a Technology Sales Associate for a reputable retail client in Richmond, VA. This is a full-time, entry-level, outside sales position for motivated individuals to secure solutions-based sales technology opportunities in the Richmond territory.

The ideal candidate will be interested in learning the outside sales process, managing a client base, and gaining the skills to bring on new clients. If you enjoy meeting new people and presenting ideas and solutions, this is your perfect role!

As a Technology Sales Specialist, you will:
• Generate sales to meet annual revenue targets.
• Understand customer's needs and how our offerings can meet those needs.
• Become a trusted business technology advisor to your prospects and clients.
• Generate business technology solution opportunities in print hardware, software solutions, managed IT, and VoIP to prospects and clients.
• Prospect through in-person meetings, phone calls, email, social media, and networking.
• Demonstrate the benefits of applicable technology.
• Provide customer service and support to your client base.
• Perform proposal generations and conduct virtual meetings.
• Participate in on-going training opportunities.
Qualifications:
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

• Confidence, enthusiasm, and resilience.
• Comfortable prospecting through in-person meetings, phone calls, email, social media, and networking.
• Ability to find an emotional connection and understand the business technology solutions product.

• Some prior sales experience preferred.
• Must be team oriented.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite for
• Proficient Microsoft skills for proposal generation and virtual meetings.
• Must enjoy working and being part of a motivated performing team.
• Must enjoy and be open to continuous learning.
• Associate or bachelor's degree or comparable business experience.
