Senior Software Engineer

P3+Uplift is growing, and we’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team.

We’re looking for an experienced engineer who enjoys solving complex problems, building quality software, and working closely with a collaborative development team. This role will have a strong focus on modern software engineering practices, including Extreme Programming (XP), while also incorporating AI-enabled tools and workflows into the development process.

The right person will bring strong hands-on development experience with TypeScript, Node.js, C#, and .NET, along with a willingness to learn, collaborate, and continuously improve how software is designed and delivered.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software solutions using TypeScript, Node.js, C#, and .NET.
• Work closely with other engineers, product partners, and stakeholders to turn business needs into well-designed technical solutions.
• Apply Extreme Programming (XP) practices such as pair programming, test-driven development, continuous integration, refactoring, and frequent feedback.
• Participate in collaborative design and development sessions with a focus on simple, maintainable solutions.
• Use modern AI tools and workflows to support software development, testing, documentation, problem solving, and engineering productivity.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code and participate in peer code reviews.
• Help troubleshoot production issues and continuously improve application performance and reliability.
• Mentor and collaborate with other engineers while contributing to engineering standards and best practices.

What We're Looking For

• Strong professional software development experience, ideally at a senior-level capacity.
• Hands-on experience with TypeScript and Node.js.
• Strong experience with C# and .NET.
• Experience working with modern APIs, services, and application architectures.
• Hands-on experience with Extreme Programming (XP) or similar highly collaborative Agile engineering practices.
• Experience with automated testing, CI/CD, source control, and modern development practices.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development and AI workflows, with an interest in continuing to expand those capabilities.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative engineering environment.
• Comfortable giving and receiving feedback and working closely with teammates throughout the development lifecycle.
