Assistant Project Manager – Mechanical Construction

We’re hiring an Assistant Project Manager to support commercial and industrial mechanical construction projects across multiple U.S. job sites. This is a great opportunity for someone with field or project coordination experience looking to grow into a full project management role. You’ll work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and clients to ensure smooth execution of HVAC and plumbing scopes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with scheduling, material tracking, RFIs, and submittals
  • Support coordination of subcontractors, vendors, and jobsite logistics
  • Participate in project meetings and track progress against milestones
  • Help manage documentation including change orders and punch lists
  • Travel to job sites for kickoff meetings, inspections, and progress support

Qualifications:

  • 2 years or more of experience in mechanical construction, field coordination, or project support
  • Familiarity with HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems
  • Ability to read drawings and understand construction schedules
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
