Job Description

Pinnacle Partners is working with an Indianapolis client hiring a Senior Manager of Corporate Reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements for company entities.
• Lead quarterly and annual financial reporting, including cash flow schedules and lease disclosures.
• Prepare annual stand-alone financial statements for the Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD).
• Serve as the primary contact for external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits.
• Oversee lease accounting, including ASC 842 compliance, lease evaluations, and lease accounting software.
• Review repair, maintenance, CAPEX, and marketing expenses against budget and analyze variances.
• Manage key accounting estimates, including impairment assessments and insurance-related valuations.
• Lead technical accounting research and prepare technical accounting memos.
• Supervise a team of three corporate accounting professionals and oversee accounting operations.
• Ensure SOX internal control compliance, monitor US GAAP updates, and drive process improvements and automation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• 8+ years of experience, with public accounting experience
• CPA designation
• Passionate about business by adding value to help the overall business grow and win in the marketplace
• Innovator when it comes to improving processes and using AI
• Adaptability and flexibility as priorities change and job responsibilities broaden
• Team leader, but a coach first and foremost
• Effective communicator, verbally and written
• Problem solver that addresses issues quickly.
• Strong analytical thinking
• Proficient with Microsoft applications, including Excel
