About the Role

We are seeking a strategic WMS Architect to serve as a key driver of technical direction for our client's warehouse management system. This role will play a critical part in modernizing legacy systems, designing scalable database architecture, and translating business requirements into resilient technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define the end-to-end technical blueprint for WMS enhancements, integrations, and modernization
• Establish best practices for database design, T-SQL development, and performance tuning across distribution environments
• Translate business and logical requirements into detailed technical specifications
• Design stored procedures and data extractions based on the system's data model and interactions
• Evaluate and recommend advanced SQL Server tools and frameworks
• Participate in an on-call rotation

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of progressive software development/architecture experience
• Strong SQL Server database architecture experience
• Design experience with .NET applications and Azure DevOps for CI/CD
• Experience designing enterprise integrations using APIs, web services, and message queues

Preferred:

• Background in legacy database modernization
• PowerBuilder experience
• Experience modernizing a legacy system
