About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Prophet 21 (P21) professional to serve as a strategic technology partner to our client's executive leadership. This role will play a critical part in owning the P21 ERP system, optimizing workflows and integrations, and overseeing broader IT infrastructure, security, and vendor management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and implement an IT strategy aligned with company growth and business objectives
• Serve as a strategic technology partner to executive leadership
• Manage the Prophet 21 (P21) ERP system
• Identify opportunities to optimize P21 workflows, reporting, integrations, and business processes
• Oversee IT infrastructure, networks, cybersecurity, SaaS applications, and end-user services
• Manage the IT budget, vendors, contracts, and technology investments
• Establish IT policies, procedures, security standards, and best practices
• Evaluate technology and automation opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs

Requirements:

• Hands-on Prophet 21 (P21) experience, including administration, reporting, integrations, and process optimization
• Solid understanding of distribution processes, with the ability to communicate effectively across purchasing, inventory, warehouse, sales, and finance departments

Preferred:

• Strong strategic planning, leadership, and negotiation skills
• EDI and API experience
• Experience with ERP implementations, upgrades, and system improvements
• IT infrastructure support experience
