About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Technical Business Systems Analyst to serve as a critical bridge between IT and core business units for our client's organization. This role will play a critical part in managing key business applications, strengthening data governance and reporting, and supporting an upcoming ERP modernization initiative.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary IT subject matter expert for core business systems
• Translate business requests into technical requirements for the development team
• Own the application roadmap, including scheduling upgrades, prioritizing feature requests, and evaluating whether custom development is needed
• Partner with department leaders to manage system configurations, integrations, roles, and permissions across business applications
• Write and execute SQL queries to extract and analyze data
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports that enable self-service access to data
• Define data hierarchies and governance standards
• Architect and automate data pipelines that combine external market data with internal ERP and regulatory data to support product insights
• Map department workflows to identify opportunities for process automation
• Develop functional requirements for IT projects and maintain SOPs and technical documentation
• Handle escalated support tickets and troubleshoot integration issues
• Play a key role in an upcoming ERP selection and implementation project, including data migration planning and coordination of user acceptance testing

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Data Analyst role
• 2-3+ years of SQL experience, including writing queries, joins, subqueries, aggregates, views, and stored procedures
• Manufacturing ERP systems
• Experience with data governance or data cleansing in support of ERP migrations

Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field
• Experience with ERP systems
• Experience configuring workflows in Salesforce
• Familiarity with data warehousing  and BI tools
