About the Role

 Our client is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to join a dedicated security team supporting security monitoring, threat detection, and incident response across a large, multi-location organization. This successful resource will Monitor network and systems security across intrusion prevention, firewalls, endpoints, and vulnerability management tools

Key Responsibilities:

• Review Windows event logs and DLP alerts, analyzing security events to identify and manage emerging threats
• Investigate potential cyber threats and translate findings into clear risk analysis for stakeholders
• Track and report on key security metrics to support ongoing risk visibility
• Serve as a technical subject matter expert on the incident response team
• Contribute to threat intelligence initiatives and broader security projects
• Evaluate business applications and infrastructure projects to flag potential cyber risk
• Support day-to-day information security operations, including attestations and routine checks
• Help prepare for information security audits and examinations

Requirements:

• 2+ years of technical infrastructure experience
• Experience from a medium-to-large infrastructure environment

Preferred:

• Firewall experience, with Crowdstrike or CyberArk exposure a big plus
• Military infrastructure and/or security experience
• Professional cybersecurity task experience
• Exposure to SIEM technologies
• Vulnerability management experience
