IT Solutions Analyst II / AWS Network Engineer
Location: Remote

Pay: Up to $56/hr
Contract

Pinnacle Partners is assisting our client in their search for an AWS Network Engineer to join their team on a fully remote basis. This successful resource will be responsible for deploying and supporting AWS network infrastructure.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Map network flows for Transit Gateways, AWS firewalls, and dedicated VPCs
• Work with AWS networking tools like ALB/NLB for elastic load balancing, Virtual Private Cloud, CDK with TypeScript, Site-to-Site VPN, AWS Direct Connect, and Network Firewalls
• Design, configure, and maintain complex AWS hardware, software, and infrastructure solutions
• Design and implement integrations, APIs, and data exchange between platforms
• Troubleshoot network infrastructure
• Maintain infrastructure scripts, config files, and IaC templates in GitHub

REQUIREMENTS:

• AWS networking experience, working with tools such as ALBs, NLBs, VPCs, CDK, and Transit Gateway
• Must have experience with Infrastructure as Code
• CDK experience (as part of AWS IaC)
• Understanding of GitHub flow, heavily preferred with TypeScript, but open to Terraform

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Experience mapping network flow with Transit Gateways, AWS firewalls, and dedicated inspection VPCs

TERMS:

This is a 6+ month contract opportunity paying up to $56/hr based on experience. Pinnacle Partners benefits are available while on contract.
