Solutions Architect – AWS
Location: Hybrid – Plano, TX

Pay: Up to $72/hr
Contract to Hire   

Pinnacle Partners is assisting our client in their search for a Solutions Architect to join their team in the Plano, TX area. This successful resource will be responsible for designing and developing enterprise-scale applications built on AWS technologies while collaborating with development, infrastructure, and architecture teams to deliver high-performing solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design end-to-end solutions leveraging AWS cloud technologies
• Create architectural designs for new applications while enhancing and modernizing existing platforms
• Evaluate technologies, frameworks, and platforms to determine business and technical requirements
• Architect solutions that utilize modern web technologies
• Create application strategies to support content delivery
• Design solutions to account for network bandwidth, storage, compute utilization, and application responsiveness

REQUIREMENTS:

• 12+ years of technical experience
• Recent experience in a Solutions Architecture capacity
• Ability to perform architecture reviews, platform evaluations, and technology selection initiatives
• Experience designing solutions to incorporate SQL and NoSQL database technologies
• JavaScript development knowledge
• Broad technical knowledge including networking, application architecture, and data management

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Amazon SQS
• AWS certifications

TERMS:

This is a contract to hire opportunity with a wage up to $72/hr based on experience. Pinnacle will offer benefits while on contract.
