Title: Sales Executive
Location: San Francisco, CA
Compensation: $125,000 – 135,000 + commission


We are currently looking to place a highly creative thinking Sales Executive with a leading provider of innovative Business Process Automation SaaS solutions tailored to meet the unique needs of the public sector. In this unique Sales Executive position, you’ll focus on solutions for the public sector: Licensing and Permitting; Compliance and Enforcement; and Case Management solutions.

To be considered for this role, you must have extensive experience selling to SLED / public sector. The selected applicant will have tenure in their most recent roles (a minimum of 3 years each). The selected candidate will also need to have proven sales experience in the SaaS space.

We are looking for someone who understands how to help public sector programs. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for a large region to (~13 states) pre-sell and manage the entire sales lifecycle. Leveraging your expertise in software solutions and your understanding of the unique challenges faced by government agencies, you will drive revenue growth and establish long-lasting relationships.


Your role:

  • Sell SaaS solutions to SLED customers. Be skilled at creating RFP responses. Know the public sector.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of company BPA solutions, including features, benefits, and competitive advantages.
  • Must have the ability to communicate strategies and win-themes to response writers and read the final product to ensure it aligns with the initial vision in a collaborative manner.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including decision-makers and influencers, to understand their needs.
  • Collaborate with outstanding Solution Engineers to prepare demonstrations.
  • Lead product demonstrations and proposals tailored to address the specific requirements of each client.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales engineers and product specialists.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and market developments to identify new opportunities and challenges.


What you’ve got:

  • Exceptional insight into how to help/support public sector programs.
  • Years of experience working with state leaders: helping them identify issues and presenting the “to-be” vision of what can be achieved.
  • Excels at collaborating with prospective clients.
  • Solid presentation skills.
  • Has compassion and a passion for delivering technology that transforms citizen's lives.
  • Proven track record of success in software sales, particularly within the public sector. We prefer five years' experience but are more interested in the person's abilities and past performance.
  • Strong understanding of government processes.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel as needed (less than 25%).

Please note that this position is a remote role. You must be able to commute to the corporate office in Arizona as needed. This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.
