Job Description

Position Details

  • Hourly position based on experience and skillset – up to $50/hour
  • Contract opportunity with possible contract extension or full-time conversion
  • Standard work hours: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Location: Fully Onsite – Plano, TX
  • Relocation assistance is not available. Candidates who choose to relocate may do so at their own expense.

Requirements & Preferences

  • 5+ years of full-cycle, high-volume recruiting experience required.
  • Experience recruiting skilled trades and technical professionals in high-volume environments required.
  • Telecommunications and/or data center recruiting experience preferred, but not required.
  • Preferred minimum of 2 years supporting high-volume data center recruitment initiatives.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for large-scale data center projects, preferably within a data center construction environment, while meeting aggressive hiring timelines and workforce demands.
  • Manage high-volume hiring efforts, including:
    • Approximately 25 technician hires per month
    • Approximately 6–9 mission-critical and leadership hires per month
  • Preferred experience recruiting for roles aligned with:
    • ISP (Inside Plant)
    • OSP (Outside Plant)
    • Division 27 (Communications)
    • Fiber optic installation
    • Network infrastructure
    • Audio Visual (AV) systems
    • Telecommunications projects
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for skilled trades and technical roles, preferably including:
    • Low Voltage Technicians
    • Structured Cabling Installers
    • Fiber Technicians
    • Data Center Technicians
    • Project Managers
    • Estimators
    • Field Supervisors
    • Construction Managers
    • Project Engineers
  • Strong interviewing techniques and candidate evaluation skills.
  • Basic knowledge of federal and state laws regarding employment practices and recruiting compliance.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and computer skills.
  • Working knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and organizational structures.
  • Ability to quickly shift priorities, manage competing demands, and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume recruiting environment.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Profile Example #1

  • 10–15+ years of recruiting experience.
  • Strong background managing high-volume full-cycle recruiting for skilled trades and technical positions.
  • Experience supporting large-scale workforce initiatives, infrastructure projects, or construction-related hiring preferred.
  • Data center, telecommunications, low-voltage, structured cabling, or mission-critical recruiting experience highly preferred.
  • Proven success building and maintaining talent pipelines while meeting aggressive hiring goals.
  • Experience managing significant monthly hiring volume, including:
    • 25+ technician placements per month
    • 6–9 mission-critical and leadership placements per month
  • Full recruitment lifecycle expertise including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding coordination.
  • Skilled in direct sourcing, recruitment marketing, employer branding, career fairs, referrals, ATS/VMS platforms, and LinkedIn Recruiter.

  • 15–20+ years of technical recruiting experience.
  • Subject matter expert in identifying, engaging, and hiring difficult-to-find technical talent.
  • Experience recruiting within skilled trades, infrastructure, telecommunications, or technical environments.
  • Proven ability to develop proactive recruiting strategies and maintain strong candidate pipelines.
  • Experience partnering with hiring managers on workforce planning, job requirements, and recruiting strategies.
  • Strong passive and active candidate sourcing experience through:
    • Internet sourcing
    • Social media
    • Referrals
    • ATS databases
    • Professional networks
  • Provides an exceptional candidate experience through personalized communication, interview preparation, consistent follow-up, and relationship management.
  • Demonstrated ability to reduce time-to-fill, improve hiring outcomes, and support large-scale hiring initiatives.
  • Highly adaptable with the ability to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced recruiting environment.
