Job Description
Our client is seeking experienced a Lead Business Analyst to support strategic Digital Banking, Mobile Banking, and Digital Product Acquisition initiatives. These are highly visible roles supporting key growth objectives and customer experience enhancements across digital channels, customer acquisition, servicing, rewards, and emerging digital capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with product managers, business leaders, UX teams, and technology stakeholders to gather requirements, define business needs, and support delivery of digital banking and customer experience initiatives.
- Translate ambiguous discussions, meeting notes, and business concepts into detailed user stories, epics, acceptance criteria, process flows, and functional requirements.
- Support digital product launches and enhancements across customer acquisition, servicing, rewards programs, mobile banking, online banking, and emerging digital capabilities.
- Participate in Agile delivery ceremonies including PI Planning, backlog refinement, sprint planning, story grooming, retrospectives, and stakeholder reviews.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure requirements are well-defined, prioritized, and aligned with business objectives.
- Utilize Jira and Confluence to manage backlogs, document requirements, track delivery progress, and maintain project artifacts.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of Business Analyst experience supporting digital products, customer-facing applications, or technology initiatives.
- Experience working within banking, financial services, fintech, or other highly regulated industries.
- Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Jira (user stories, backlog management, Agile workflows)
- Confluence (documentation and requirements management)
- Tableau (reporting, dashboards, and visualization)
- Demonstrated ability to independently convert business discussions and meeting notes into high-quality user stories and actionable requirements.
- Experience supporting end-to-end Agile product delivery.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across business, product, design, analytics, and technology teams.
