Job Description

The Senior Commercial Relationship Manager (Senior CRM) manages and grows a portfolio of commercial member relationships, driving loan and deposit growth while ensuring strong risk management and regulatory compliance. This role plays a key part in expanding market share through new business development, deepening existing relationships, and delivering tailored commercial banking solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage, retain, and grow a commercial portfolio with a focus on C&I, CRE, and SBA lending.
  • Drive loan and deposit growth through business development, lead generation, and centers of influence.
  • Analyze financial statements and structure commercial loan requests; present recommendations through the loan approval process.
  • Ensure portfolio risk management aligns with credit union policies, strategy, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proactively call on members and prospects via in-person and phone outreach.
  • Cross-sell commercial products and services to meet member needs.
  • Participate in community and business organizations and support Commercial Services initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in C&I and CRE lending, including SBA lending.
  • Strong business development, credit analysis, and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of commercial lending regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
