Social Media Manager – Job Description
We’re looking for a creative and strategic Social Media Manager who can own the brand’s presence across all major social platforms. This role focuses on building engagement, creating memorable digital experiences, and driving both paid and organic growth through smart social strategies. You’ll lead channel planning, content direction, KPI development, real-time engagement, and performance optimization across multiple platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, and more.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee brand presence and performance across all social media channels.
- Develop social media strategies, KPIs, segmentation plans, and channel-specific approaches.
- Manage posting, responses, community engagement, social listening, and reporting.
- Build Go-to-Market campaigns that drive revenue spikes and lower CPA.
- Define engagement benchmarks, acquisition goals, and brand growth targets.
- Guide content themes, product stories, messaging, and posting calendars.
- Review analytics, monitor trends, adjust strategies in real time, and provide performance insights.
- Partner with creative teams on optimization of visuals, messaging, and social storytelling.
- Track competitive activity and emerging trends to inform strategy.
- Provide insights that help position the brand as a top leader in its industry.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Creative Communications, Digital Design, Visual Arts, Data Analytics, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in social media publishing, writing, and content creation.
- 3+ years in digital design and/or digital marketing.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage fast-paced, shifting priorities with tight deadlines.
- Experience maintaining confidentiality and adhering to brand/visual guidelines.
- Comfortable working flexible hours, including nights or weekends if needed.
Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Experience managing or mentoring teams.
- Background in financial services or similar regulated industries.
- Deep understanding of social media principles, targeting, segmentation, and go-to-market planning.
- Experience working with agency partners or national brand accounts.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to thrive in fast-changing environments.
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills.
- Adobe Creative Cloud experience preferred.
- Ability to influence cross-functional partners and solve complex problems.
- Forward-thinking, strategic, creative mindset with strong execution skills.
- Solid understanding of federal, state, and industry regulatory guidelines.
