Now Hiring: General Ledger Accountant – Oil Transportation Company (San Antonio, TX)
Peyton Resource Group is seeking a General Ledger Accountant to join a fast-paced and growing oil transportation company. This role plays a key part in maintaining financial accuracy, supporting payroll, and collaborating closely with operations to ensure smooth business flow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts for accurate financial reporting
• Collaborate with operations to review driver routes and customer rate issues
• Support weekly payroll by calculating driver supplementals and training pay
• Prepare and manage accurate customer invoicing
• Assist the Controller with monthly revenue tracking and cash receipts
• Generate and present managerial reports to guide key business decisions

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Experience in general ledger accounting and payroll processes
• Strong Excel and accounting software skills
• Collaborative mindset with strong attention to detail
• Experience with Pak Energy system is a plus
