Job Description

Job Duties:

• Review business requirements for processing of financial events from GuideWire, through FinPAL (our application) and sent to downstream consumers of the data
• Validate Test cases, identify errored events and possible root cause in our staging and standardization tables
• Pull data using SQL into an Excel file or from Kafka/JSON payload
• Review test scenarios against business requirements to validate test cases
• Automate test scenario validation using Python
• Creates business requirement documents (BRD) that sets out project requirement including costs, objectives, milestones, and timelines
• Performs business analysis and project management support for his/her area
• Develops detailed functional specifications including function models, process flow diagrams and report and screen layouts
• Creates presentation for recommendations and solution designs
• Coordinates with testing team in planning and executing system integration testing and regression testing
• Resolves functional issue in post-production environment during the cutover period

Required Experience:

• Property & Casualty Insurance Experience - 3 years preferred
• Financial Data Experience - 1 Year
• GuideWire Experience - 1 Year
• Knowledge of scripting and database languages such as Oracle PL/SQL, MySQL etc.
• Good working knowledge of project management tools such as JIRA/Confluence
• Experience supporting business requirements for large scale applications in the concerned domain
